The Resident Director is expected to work independently. 12-month staff will have the opportunity to supervise other student staff and work with summer operations. |

Assistant Professor/Aquatic Biologist/Tenure Track

The assignment will include teaching a range of courses including invertebrate zoology, entomology, aquatic insect ecology, introductory biology, and advanced courses in area of specialty. We seek an aquatic biologist committed to teaching and scholarship with an active research program that will involve undergraduate and graduate students and will promote our department mission to foster diversity, equity and inclusion in the biological sciences. Counselor/Assistant Professor

The counselor is a full-time, 10-month role within the NMU Counseling and Consultation Services Center (CCS). The candidate will be housed in the Wellbeing Center and embedded with the Athletic Department to provide specialized support. The role involves delivering comprehensive counseling to NMU students with partial provision of services dedicated to student athletes.
Responsibilities are those of a professional university counseling center clinician and include individual and group therapy, assessment, outreach programming and consultation using a brief therapy model.
